Mechanical Contracts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team at our business centre in Leeds.

The role involves leading and developing the engineering department, reporting to the Operations Manager and also the day to day running of commercial new build developments (apartments, student accommodation, hotels, etc) nationwide.

The successful candidate would be based at our head office in Leeds and will work within a dedicated team of mechanical and electrical engineers and will have hands on experience of medium to large scale projects from inception to completion, including management of labour and subcontractors, purchasing, programming and overall cost control of each project.

Electrical Contracts Engineer

Quantity Surveyor

We require a Quantity Surveyor with experience of working (ideal but not essential) in the Social Housing sector to join our surveying team based in our Head Office in Leeds. Consideration will also be given to surveying graduates or administration personnel with an interest in career progression.

Duties will include: preparation and submission of valuations & variations, procurement and payment of sub-contractors, measurement, preparation of cost reports, submission and agreement of final accounts and client/customer liaison. The position is suited to an individual with good analytical skills.

Although based in Leeds, our social housing contracts are predominantly carried out by our London Business Centre and this may require (after a period of training) that 2 days of each week will be spent working from our offices in Greenwich; this will require travel with overnight stay (company funded).

Working closely with both clients and sub-contractors, excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and Microsoft Office (particularly, Excel) skills are a must, as is the ability to meet cost/plan targets. As part of a small team, the candidate must also have a willingness to assist others when and where required.

Electrical Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at our business centre in London (Greenwich).

Whilst predominantly working in the social housing refurbishment market place, it is essential that the successful candidate has the ability, willingness and confidence to price periphery work stream activities such as fire stopping, fire doors and builders works.

The successful candidate must be capable of working independently and be willing to visit site as required. Good communication skills are essential.
